Welcome to Longbeach Chiropractic. This may be your first experience with Chiropractic, or you may have experienced chiropractic in the past. Either way, we would like to congratulate you on choosing a safe and effective way of improving and maintaining your health.

Prepare for first visit
When you have decided you would like to make an initial appointment with us, the easiest way to find out everything you need to know is to contact us on 9776 1755 and talk to our friendly receptionists.
In preparation for your first visit , you will be asked to fill in a patient questionnaire.
We would also like you to bring along any reports, x-rays or scans you may have already had.
 

What to expect on your first visit
Your first appointment will be approximately 50 minutes. We will spend time listening to your health history and the details of your condition. The Chiropractor will then perform a thorough physical examination which may include orthopaedic, neurological and chiropractic tests and assessments.
You may need to disrobe to your underwear during your assessment. Gowns are provided if required.
From all this information, we can form a working diagnosis. The Chiropractor will discuss the diagnosis and suggest individualised treatment options for you. Once you are comfortable and had all your questions answered, we can implement a treatment program based on these findings and your health goals.
We will tailor the treatment to your needs, preferences and clinical indications. We use manual adjusting techniques, but also utilise Activator, Blocking, Drop-piece, Soft tissue techniques and laser and needle Acupuncture.
There may be a requirement to be referred for further imaging based on clinical judgements, but treatment will normally commence on the first visit.
